BlendVoxel v1.0 - Initial Release


🎉 Hello, creators!

I'm excited to release the first public version of **BlendVoxel**, a voxel modeling addon for Blender!

What’s in v1.0?

✅ Customizable voxel grid with dimension and orientation control  

✅ Layer system with XY, XZ, and YZ planes  

✅ Place voxels interactively with 3 brush modes: Single, Square, Circle  

✅ Erase voxels by dragging across the grid  

✅ Voxelize any mesh using proximity-based filling  

✅ Tools to convert instanced voxels into real editable meshes  

✅ Optimizer to join and merge voxel geometry  

✅ Modular code structure for easy extension


Why I Made This:

I wanted a simple, intuitive way to block out or stylize voxel-based models **inside Blender** without external software. BlendVoxel makes that possible — all in one UI tab, no special setup needed.

Known Limitations:

- Erase tool works only within the grid bounds and current layer

- Voxelize operation may slow down on high-resolution grids

- No color/material support (yet!), but materials can be added by traditional methods in blender


What’s Next?

🛠️ Future versions might include:

- Material-based voxel coloring

- Preset brushes and symmetry tools

- Better viewport overlays or snapping

- Export options (glTF, VOX, etc.)
